Throughout her flourishing career, Shanley has achieved remarkable success in various prestigious competitions. She secured 1st place in renowned competitions such as the Wagner Society of New York, International Czech and Slovak Competition, International Orpheus Competition, Mario Lanza Institute Competition, and Houston Gilbert & Sullivan Competition, showcasing her exceptional vocal prowess and artistry.

Adding to her list of impressive accomplishments, Shanley’s recent debuts have been met with resounding acclaim. She delivered a captivating portrayal of Anacoana in Franchetti’s Cristoforo Colombo with Teatro Grattacielo, and her concert debut at Carnegie Hall, assuming the title role in Bizet’s Carmen, further solidified her reputation as a gifted and versatile artist.

Continuing her pursuit of musical excellence, Shanley recently enthralled audiences in Vienna at the Palais Ehrbar, performing in concert with the esteemed PolyMuse Orchestra. Further showcasing her talent, she is set to make her debut as La Gran Vestale in Spontini’s La Vestale in the upcoming 2023 fall season.

Originally hailing from New Jersey, Shanley is a distinguished graduate of Westminster Choir College, where she honed her exceptional vocal skills. Under the expert tutelage of Jennifer Rowley, she continues to refine her artistry, ensuring her place at the forefront of the opera world.
