Mezzo soprano, Phoebe Dinga, completed her master’s degree at the Hochschule der Künste in Bern, Switzerland. She has performed on international stages in Switzerland, France, Sweden, Austria, and Italy with renowned singers and pianists including Marek Ruszczynski, Felice Venanzoni, Vladimir Chernov, Alessandro Trebeschi, and Tanja Baumgartner. Last season, Ms. Dinga made her mainstage debut with Pocket Opera in the title role of Métella in La Vie Parisienne. She has appeared in West Edge Opera’s world premiere of Bulrusher, Pocket Opera’s Cunning Little Vixen and La Bohème, and sang Angelina in San Francisco Opera Guild’s La Cenerentola. This season, she will sing the role of Rosina in San Francisco Opera Guild’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Kate Pinkerton in Pocket Opera’s Madama Butterfly, and will make her debut with Opera San José in the role of Mother in Madama Butterfly.
