Larry Hancock, general director of Opera San José, hosts his eighth tour to the Santa Fe Opera with Creative Travel Arrangers. The tour will appeal not only to music lovers and veterans of opera, but also to those who will enjoy the beauty of Santa Fe and its environs. It’s Santa Fe Opera’s 61st season and to celebrate this occasion we will attend four exciting new opera productions each with outstanding casts: Handel’s Alcina, Rimsky-Korsakov’s The Golden Cockerel, Mason Bates’ (R)evolution of Steve Jobs, and Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor.
The tour cost of $3,750 (per person) will include round-trip air from San Francisco to Albuquerque, ground transfers to and from Santa Fe, transfers to the opera house, five nights at the centrally-located first class Inn of the Governors, daily full American breakfast, three dinners, four operas with orchestra seating, a chamber music performance, museum pass, sightseeing in Santa Fe, and a tour of special art galleries.
