Natalie Image makes her company debut in the 2017-18 season, appearing in the title role of Alma Deutscher’s North American premiere of Cinderella (Dec. 21 performance). Recent engagements for Ms. Image include the role of Clorinda in Rossini’s La Cenerentola with the Merola Opera program for which she received praise by the San Francisco Chronicle. Upcoming performances feature her singing Villa-Lobos’ Bachianas Brasileiras No. 5 with the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra and Barber’s Knoxville: Summer of 1915 as the Concerto Competition winner at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Other performances include Aurore in Massenet’s Le portrait de Manon with SFCM; opera arias and scenes with the Opera Showcase of the Desert in Palm Springs; a solo graduate recital; and, a recital with the East Bay Opera League.
Past highlights include Handel’s Messiah with the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra as the soprano
soloist; Johanna in Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd with Opera on the Avalon; and Mrs. De Rocher in Dead Man Walking with Opera NUOVA.

Ms. Image was recently named a Metropolitan Opera National Council Grand Finalist. She completed her Masters degree at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in 2017, and did her undergraduate studies in Toronto, Canada with the Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory of Music. Natalie is from Tsawwassen, British Columbia, Canada.
