2016 – 2017
While a member of OSJ’s resident ensemble, Ksenia Popova appeared as Berta in Rossini’s The Barber of Seville and Madeleine Auderbert in Puts and Campbell’s Silent Night, and covered the title role in Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor.
Recent engagements for Ms. Popova include role debuts as Polly Peachum in Kurt Weill’s The Threepenny Opera with Tacoma Opera and a company debut with Skagit Opera as Gretel in Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel. She made her company debut with Tacoma Opera in 2014-15 as Josephine in Gilbert and Sullivan’s H.M.S. Pinafore, and later appeared as Juliette in Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette.
