Constantinos
Yiannoudes,
Baritone
(1999 - 2000)

During the 2005 - 2006 season, CONSTANTINOS YIANNOUDES appeared as Figaro (Il barbiere di Siviglia) for Taconic Opera, directed by former OSJ resident artist Dan Montez,
and repeated the role with Eugene Opera later in the season. For Sarasota Opera, Mr. Yiannoudes sang the role of Count Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro) in early 2006. On the concert stage, he performed at Carnegie Hall in William Tell with the Opera Orchestra of New York.

Since departing Opera San Josè, Mr. Yiannoudes has maintained an active performance schedule in both opera and concert. Recent seasons have brought Mr. Yiannoudes to San Francisco Opera to cover Germont (La traviata), Boheme Opera of Jersey in the title role of Don Giovanni and Figaro (Il barbiere di Siviglia), San Antonio Lyric Opera as Escamillo (Carmen), Cyprus Lyric Stage as Malatesta (Don Pasquale), and to New York's Central Park with New York Grand Opera for a dual bill of La bohèmes, as Marcello in Puccini's score and Rodolfo in Leoncavallo's version of the story.

Over the past several seasons, Mr. Yiannoudes has appeared with New York Grand Opera, Eugene Opera, Nevada Opera, Teatro Grattacielo, Little Orchestra Society, Annapolis Opera and Taconic Opera, as well as in concert at Carnegie Hall, Merkin Hall, Avery Fisher Hall and the Bruno Walter Auditorium.

Other recent engagements include Kurt Weill's Mahagonny-Songspiel, Virgil Thomson's Four Saints in Three Acts, Menotti's Amahl and the Night Visitors, and Marius in the New York premiere of Robert Starer's Apollonia. World premiere performances have included the baritone in Roger Trefousse's Found Objects.
