Gianmarco Marostica

Gianmarco Marostica makes his company debut during the 2012-13 season as Ruiz in Il trovatore. Mr. Marostica has performed the role of Gastone in La traviata with both the Opera of the Hamptons as well as Virago Opera Theatre. His other opera credits include Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni, The Reporter in Les Mamelles de Tiresias, and The Defendant in Trial by Jury.
His experience as a soloist in oratorio and concert works includes Weill’s Berlin Requiem, Bach’s St. John Passion, Schumann’s Spanisches Liederspiel, and Mozart’s Requiem. Mr. Marostica has studied at the Chautauqua Institute, Opera Works Los Angeles, and L’Academie Internationale d’ete de Nice, France. Mr. Marostica received a bachelor of music degree from Boston University, and a master of music degree from the Manhattan School of Music.
