Clerical Assistance

Opera San José enjoys the help of a number of volunteers who work with staff in carrying out daily tasks in the administration of the company. These include reception, maintenance of the press and photo files, filing in the box office and development departments, assisting with auditions and other tasks easily accomplished with only a little training. Costuming

The Costume Department is occasionally in need of help with hand sewing projects such as application of trim and hemming. These projects can sometimes be done in your home, or you can join the drapers, cutters and stitchers in the costume shop. Please contact Larry Hancock @ (408) 504-9443 if you would like to volunteer.

Volunteers are required to make a four-month commitment.
