B. Modern returns to Opera San José to design costumes for Lucia di Lammermoor. Ms. Modern's previous OSJ design credits include The Magic Flute; Un Ballo in Maschera and Carmen. Most recently, Ms. Modern's designs were featured in Armida at Opera Theatre of Saint Louis.

B. is an Associate Artistic Director and resident designer at Shakespeare Santa Cruz, and an Associate Artist at Geva Theatre, Rochester, New York. Regional theater credits include numerous productions at San Jose Repertory Theatre, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, The Globe Theatres (San Diego), Indiana Repertory Theatre, The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Georgia Shakespeare Festival, Syracuse Stage, The Magic Theatre, Center Repertory Company, Idaho Shakespeare Festival, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, The Great Lakes Theatre Festival.
