Ms. La Cour returns as choreographer for OSJ's 2010 - 2011 productions of
Anna Karenina and The Barber of Seville. Ms. La Cour has served as choreographer for many OSJ
productions, including Manon, La Cenerentola, The Marriage of Figaro, La Rondine, Eugene Onegin, Carmen,
and Lucia di Lammermoor.
Ms. La Cour served as
Associate Ballet Director of the Royal Danish Ballet from 1988-1995 and
has also worked for the Royal Danish Opera and as a freelance
choreographer. She was made a
Knight of The Order of Dannebrog by Queen Margrethe II of Denmark in
December of 1989.
Her extensive choreographic experience includes three ballets for the
Royal Danish Ballet and five children’s ballets based on the Hans
Christian Andersen Fairy Tales. Ms. La Cour is currently the director of
Ballet San Jose's Ballet School.
