Lise La Cour 
Choreographer

Ms. La Cour returns as choreographer for OSJ's 2009 - 2010 productions of Manon, La Cenerentola, The Marriage of Figaro and La Rondine. Ms. La Cour has served as choreographer for many OSJ productions, including last season's Eugene Onegin and Carmen, and the  2007 production of Lucia di Lammermoor.

Ms. La Cour served as Associate Ballet Director of the Royal Danish Ballet from 1988-1995 and has also worked for the Royal Danish Opera and as a freelance choreographer. Ms. la Cour was made a Knight of The Order of Dannebrog by Queen Margrethe II of Denmark in December of 1989.

Her extensive choreographic experience includes three ballets for the Royal Danish Ballet and five children’s ballets based on the Hans Christian Andersen Fairy Tales. Ms. La Cour is currently the director of Ballet San Jose Silicon Valley's Ballet School.
