Giovanna Hutchison,

Giovanna Hutchison returns to Opera San José to appear as Papagena in The Magic Flute. Previously, Ms. Hutchison performed the roles of Betty Paris (The Crucilble) and the Cousin (Madama Butterfly) for the company. Other recent performances for Ms. Hutchison include appearances with Trinity Lyric Opera in their production of The Pilgrim's Progress and a performance of Mozart's Requiem with Symphony Silicon Valley. Her musical theatre experience includes performances of Gilbert and Sullivan's Patience and Sondheim's Into the Woods. Ms. Hutchison is currently a full time student at San Jose State University where she hopes to graduate with a Bachelor of Music in Spring 2008.
