Pamila Z. Gray
Lighting Designer

Pamila Gray returns during OSJ's 2007 - 2008 season as lighting designer for Rigoletto. Ms. Gray's lighting designs were featured last season in La traviata and Madama Butterfly. Ms. Gray has been working with Opera San José for eighteen years, as well as designing for several companies in the San Francisco Bay area including American Musical Theatre, TheatreWorks, and  Marin Theatre Company.  She has also designed in Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle, Sacramento, and Colorado Springs. 

Before moving to California, she spent time in Houston, TX where she designed for The Alley Theatre, Houston Grand Opera, and Theatre Under The Stars, among others.

Recent accolades include the Drama-Logue Awards in both San Francisco and Los Angeles, six Bay Area Critic’s Circle Awards and numerous nominations, and four Dean Goodman Choice Awards.
