After leaving the company in Spring 2006, ADAM FLOWERS (2000 - 2006) performed the role of Interpreter/Lord Lechery in the world premiere of
Pilgrim's Progress with Trinity Opera of Walnut Creek. During the 2006 -
2007 season, he performed the role of Ghermann (The Queen of Spades) and Macduff
(Macbeth) with West Bay
Opera, and Ferrando (Così fan tutte) for Rimrock Opera. With the
Winchester Orchestra, Mr. Flowers performed the role of King Kaspar in
Menotti's Amahl and the Night Visitors. During the 2007 - 2008
season, he will appear as Tybalt (Roméo et Juliette) for Hawaii Opera
Theater.
Most recently, Mr.
Flowers was named a finalist in the inaugural Irene Dalis Vocal Competition
held on June 1, 2007.
While a member of OSJ's
resident company, Mr. Flowers performed the roles
of
Judge Danforth
(The Crucible),
Gustavus III
(A Masked Ball),
Rodolfo
(La bohème), Don Ottavio
(Don Giovanni), Don Basilio (Le
nozze di Figaro), Cavaradossi (Tosca), Don José
(Carmen), Erik (Der
fliegende Holländer), Turridu (Cavalleria rusticana), Nadir (Les Pêcheurs de perles)
and Eisenstein (Die Fledermaus). A Northern California
native, Mr. Flowers made his Opera San José debut as Carlson in Floyd's
Of Mice and Men in the 1997 - 1998 season.

for Opera San José include the title role in Faust, Manrico (Il
trovatore), Tamino (Die Zauberflöte), Fenton (Falstaff),
Ferrando (Così fan tutte), Chevalier des Grieux (Manon), Pinkerton (Madama
Butterfly),
Nemorino (L'elisir d'amore) Borsa (Rigoletto),
Fiorello (Il barbiere
di Siviglia), Remendado (Carmen), Gastone (La traviata)
Sellem (The
Rake's Progress), Tybalt (Roméo et Juliette), Normanno (Lucia
di Lammermoor), First Priest and First Armored Guard (Die
Zauberflöte), and St. Brioche (The Merry
Widow).
