Opera San José recently was notified by Charity Navigator, America's largest independent evaluator of charities, that it had been given its fourth consecutive four-star rating for its strong record of fiscal responsibility. According to Ken Berger, President and CEO of Charity Navigator, "Only 6% of the charities we've rated have received at least four consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that Opera San José consistently executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way, and outperforms most other charities in America. This 'exceptional'  designation from Charity Navigator differentiates Opera San José from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust."
