Cathleen Edwards returns to OSJ during the 2007 - 2008 season to design costumes for Massenet's Werther. Other Opera San José productions that have featured Ms. Edward's designs include The Barber of Seville, L'Ormindo, Turn of the Screw, Phaedra, Rigoletto, Xerxes, Il Turco in Italia, and The Rake's Progress.  Ms. Edwards has designed costumes for American Conservatory Theatre, Alaska Repertory Theatre, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, American Musical Theatre of San Jose, TheatreWorks, Marin Theatre Company, Shaklee Corporation Industrial Shows, California Coast Opera, Berkeley Shakespeare Festival, One-Act Theatre Company and the Wagner Society.

Awards and accolades received include two Drama-Logues (Pacific Overtures and Follies), and two Bay Area Critics' Circle awards (Pacific Overtures and Crucifer of Blood).
