Soprano Heather
Clemens makes her company debut as the First Lady (The Magic Flute) during the 2007 - 2008
season. Recent roles performed include Clementine, Josephine the Bearded
Diva, and Diva Dolly, all with Teatro Zinzanni of San Francisco.
On the concert stage,
Ms. Clemens has performed extensively throughout the Bay Area,
including a concert version of Die Fledermaus in Half Moon Bay
and Strauss's Vier Letzte Liede at the San Francisco
Conservatory of Music.
Displaying rare
versatility, Ms. Clemens is also at home in the cabaret setting,
performing vaudeville and novelty songs, musical theater and jazz,
having performed one-woman shows at venues such as The Empire Plush
Room, Morrison Planetarium in Golden Gate Park and Lush Lounge. She
recently released her first CD,
My Ideal.
Ms. Clemens was a
finalist in both the 2002 Merola Program Auditions and Pacific Region
Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. She received 1st Place
in the San Francisco Conservatory Voice Concerto Competition and the
Henry and Maria Holt Memorial Scholarship Competition. |
