Melinda Becker,
Soprano

Melinda Becker performs the role of the Page in Rigoletto during the 2007 - 2008 season. Roles performed recently include the Page (Rigoletto) with Bayshore Lyric Opera, Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro), Anne Frank (Yours, Anne), Boy (The Reluctant Dragon), Amahl (Amahl and the Night Visitors), and Hansel (Hansel and Gretel) with Santa Clara University Opera Theater. She has has been a member of the Opera San José chorus since 2006. Most recently, Ms. Becker was awarded a scholarship to attend the Tyrolean Opera Program in Maurach, Austria where she appeared as Despina (Così fan tutte) and Barbarina (Le nozze di Figaro). She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Masters degree from Santa Clara University.
