Auditions

Auditions are announced, by invitation, to those artists who have indicated their interest by sending us a résumé, and for whom there may be suitable roles.

To be considered for an audition, please contact Artistic Administrator Khori Dastoor at (408) 437-4456. Resume and head shot can be mailed to dastoor@operasj.org; audition recordings are welcome but not required. Once received, your materials will be reviewed and you will be contacted to schedule an audition time.

Chorus/Small Roles Auditions:

Chorus/small roles auditions (paid, professional positions) have already taken place for the 2013-14 season.

Supernumeraries:

Opera San José is periodically in need of actors, martial artists, and everyday people of all ages and sizes for supernumerary roles in current and future seasons.  Audition interviews must be conducted before selections will be made.  about these featured non-singing, non-speaking roles, please contact  Khori Dastoor at (408) 437-4456.
