Isabella Ivy appears as the Countess (The Marriage of Figaro), Micaela (Carmen) and Stella (A Streetcar Named Desire) in her second year as a member of OSJ’s resident ensemble. Ms. Ivy made her company debut in 2014-15, appearing as Gilda (Rigoletto), Elvira (The Italian Girl in Algiers), Lilia Herriton (Where Angels Fear to Tread), and the Queen of the Night (The Magic Flute.) Recent engagements for Ms. Ivy include Zerbinetta (Ariadne auf Naxos), Adina (L’Elisir d’Amore), Titania (The Fairy Queen), Charlotte Brontë (The Cloud), Rosalinda (Die Fledermaus), Madame Herz (The Impresario), Kate Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly), Laetita (The Old Maid and the Thief), Miss Todd (The Old Maid and the Thief), the 2nd Lady (The Magic Flute), The Attendant (Dido and Aeneas), and The 1st Witch (Dido and Aeneas).
Ms. Ivy has repeatedly been a featured artist with the AIMS Festival Orchestra in Graz, Austria, and has also been a featured artist at the University of Nevada Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Academy. Her Young Artist Program credits include the prestigious OperaWorks institute in L.A., The Big Bear Lake song festival, and the AIMS program in Graz, Austria. Ms. Ivy has also had the privilege of premiering several works at her University for both established and emerging composers.
She is also active in other areas of theater including stage management, set design, and costuming. She has costumed several shows in Las Vegas, both at UNLV, and for local companies including The Fairy Queen, Madama Butterfly, Sweeney Todd, and The Magic Flute.
