Kevin Nakatani,
Bass baritone

 

Kevin Nakatani makes his company debut as Yakuside (Madama Butterfly) during the 2006 - 2007 season.  Most recently, Mr. Nakatani sang the role of Banquo (Macbeth) with West Bay Opera under the baton of Sara Jobin. During the summer of 2006 he participated as a Festival Artist with Utah Festival Opera where he performed the roles of Olin Britt (The Music Man), José (Man of La Mancha), and covered the role of Colline (La bohème). Roles performed elsewhere include Balthazar (Amahl and the Night Visitors), Billy (Little Mary Sunshine), and Sergeant of Police (Pirates of Penzance). 

Upcoming performances include William Emmonds (The Village Singer) with San José State University Opera Workshop and Ferrando (Il Trovatore) with Utah Festival Opera. Mr. Nakatani is currently a student at San José State University, pursuing a Bachelor of Music.
