Heather McFadden,
Mezzo-soprano

 

 

Heather McFadden makes her company debut with Opera San José as Gertrude (Roméo et Juliette), Berta (The Barber of Seville) and Annina (La traviata) during the 2006 - 2007 season. Ms. McFadden recently appeared as Principessa (Suor Angelica) and in the title role in Carmen with Berkeley Opera, Ulrica (A Masked Ball) with Townsend Opera, Orlovsky (Die Fledermaus) with Diablo Light Opera, and Mercedes (Carmen) and Martha (Faust) with Livermore Opera. Other roles performed include Commere (Four Saints in Three Acts) with Oakland Opera Theatre and Nicklausse/Muse (Tales of Hoffman) with North Bay Opera. On the concert stage, Ms. McFadden has appeared as soloist with Townsend Opera in their performance of Handel's Messiah, and will be a featured soloist with Ensemble Vocalise.
