Ethan Hoerneman
Lighting Designer
After
receiving accolades for his projection design in Opera San José's 2004 -
2005 production of The Flying Dutchman, Ethan Hoerneman returns to
design lights and projection for Roméo et Juliette. Mr. Hoerneman is
a multimedia artist with more than 100 design credits in lighting, video,
sound and scenery. Recent lighting designs include Honk! at Cabrillo
Stage, Theatreworks' The Old Settler, Eugene Onegin for Opera
San José, Western Ballet's Romeo and Juliet and The Cripple of
Inishmaan at Solano College Theater.
Video
credits include a synchronized montage for Oakland Opera Theater's
production of White Darkness and animation and video clips for CAFE's
Hearts in Shadow. Mr. Hoerneman has designed lighting and scenery for
touring and commercial productions around the world, in cities such as
Istanbul, Hong Kong, Cannes, Taipei and New York.
