HOW TO HELP

What Can You Do to Help?

(l-r) Gene Walter, Gert MacFarlane, Ed Watson

Opera San José depends on donated services, goods and cash gifts in order to survive. You can help in a number of ways that will have real impact on the continued fiscal health of the company.

VOLUNTEERS

Clerical Assistance
Opera San José enjoys the help of a number of volunteers who work with staff in carrying out daily tasks in the administration of the company. These include reception, maintenance of the press and photo files, filing in the box office and development departments, assisting with auditions and other tasks easily accomplished with only a little training. Please contact Mike Cheatwood if you would like to volunteer: (408) 437-4450

Costuming
The Costume Department is occasionally in need of help with hand sewing projects such as application of trim and hemming. These projects can sometimes be done in your home, or you can join the drapers, cutters and stitchers in the costume shop. Please contact Larry Hancock @ 408.437-2229 if you would like to volunteer.
