Thomas Glenn,

Thomas Glenn makes his company debut during the 2006 - 2007 season as Count Almaviva in Rossini's The Barber of Seville. Mr. Glenn's most recent performances include his critically acclaimed portrayal of Physicist Robert Wilson in the World Premiere of John Adam's Doctor Atomic at San Francisco Opera, a role which he has also been engaged to perform for Amsterdam Opera and Chicago Lyric Opera in the 2007 - 2008 season.

Other roles performed for San Francisco Opera include Maintop (Billy Budd), Gastone (La traviata), Trabuco (La forza del destino), and the Steersman (Der fliegende Holländer). As an Adler Fellow, Mr. Glenn performed the roles of the Wittenberg Student (Doktor Faust), Mevendenko (The Seagull), and Beppe (Rita). For the Merola Opera, he appeared as Count Almaviva (The Barber of Seville).

On the concert stage, Mr. Glenn has appeared as soloist in Carmina Burana with the Sacramento Choral Society and Orchestra, Stravinsky's Les Noces with Berkeley Symphony, and Mozart's Requiem with the Marin Symphony.
