Michael Palumbo designed lighting for Opera San José’s productions of Faust, Cavalleria Rusticana, and Pagliacci. He has designed extensively throughout Northern California including The Barber of Seville at Sacramento Opera, The Immigrant at San José Repertory Theatre, Vincent in Brixton, All My Sons, On Golden Pond, and Over the River and Through the Woods at TheatreWorks, Killer Joe and Two for the Seesaw at Marin Theatre Company, Elizabeth Rex and Othello at Pacific Repertory Theatre, and Real Women Have Curves and Santos & Santos for Teatro Visión, as well as productions for Monterey Opera, Children's Musical Theatre San José, San José Stage Company, Palo Alto Players, Diablo Light Opera, Willows Theatre Company, and City Lights Theatre Company.
