MISSION STATEMENT

The purposes for which Opera San José is organized and formed are to:

1. Maintain and enhance a professional opera company of artistic excellence for
   San José and its environs;

2. Provide a showcase for outstanding, young, American, professional opera artists;

3. Provide these emerging artists with further performance and professional career development opportunities;

4. Develop, entertain, educate, and serve a broad-based, active audience of the extended community.
