Luis Gonzalez makes his company debut with
Opera San José during the 2005 - 2006 season as
Ezekiel Cheever in The Crucible and Amelia's servant in A Masked Ball. Previous appearances with the
company include last season's productions of Le nozze di Figaro,
Tosca, Carmen, and, most recently, Die
Fliegende Holländer.
A recent graduate of San José State
University’s School of Music & Dance, Mr. Gonzalez has been featured
there as both recitalist and concert soloist. In addition, his
participation in the university's Opera Workshop (2003 - 2004) yielded
critical acclaim for his eclectic performances. He has sung for such
conductors as Maestro George Cleve and Robert Wood, as well as
numerous concerts with Dr. William Hall and Prof. Elena Sharkova.
Mr. Gonzalez begins
his graduate studies at San José State this fall where he is a student
of Dr. David Rohrbaugh. |
