| Michelle Berger makes her
company debut as
Ulrica Arvidsson in Verdi's A Masked Ball during the 2005 - 2006
season. Recent roles performed include the title role in Carmen
for Opera Idaho and Rimrock Opera, Suzuki (Madama Butterfly) for
Opera Idaho and Maddalena (Rigoletto) for the Colorado Opera
Festival. Ms. Berger's operatic repetoire also includes Erda (Das
Rheingold), Dido (Dido and Aeneas), and the Witch in
Rapunzel. As a solo artist, Ms. Berger has performed with the Girona Music Festival in Spain, the Colorado Opera Festival, and Central City Opera's concert series in such works as Beethoven's Chorale Fantasy, Schubert's Mass in A-Flat, Mozart's Coronation Mass, Verdi's Requiem and Vivaldi's Gloria.
Awards and accolades include
prizes from the Metropolitan Opera Auditions and the National
Association of Music Teachers. |
